More About Kiwanis SC

Kiwanis' Current Projects

These are representative of what your Kiwanis Club of San Clemente is focused on right now. We are looking for more people to join us as members so that we will be able to do even more to make our community a better place to live!

Henderson House Community Garden

We support this organization with volunteer time and financial support. This is an effort in conjunction with the City of San Clemente and others to bring a sense of community and an opportunity for fresh produce for an under served area of our Community.

Peaceful Warriors

In partnership with St. Clements Church, the Kiwanis Club of San Clemente made possible the creation of this organization that offers the children in the Las Palmas area the opportunity to learn the honorable benefits of martial arts.

Courtney’s Sand Castle

This universally accessible playground has found a home at the new San Clemente Aquatic Center. The Kiwanis Club of San Clemente has supported the valiant efforts to make this a reality through financial support.

Friends of the Library

For each speaker who addresses our weekly meetings, we donate a book to the children’s library in their name. This enables our local library to continue to provide excellent learning materials for our children.

Scholarships for San Clemente High School seniors and Achievement Awards for local High School seniors

Each year we sponsor a program where seniors can compete for scholarships. We believe this endeavor is a small but valuable contribution to ensure our young people consider that their continuing education matters to our whole community.

Support the activities of 4 Local High School Key Club organizations

Every member of the Kiwanis International Family is an important partner in service for our community. Key Club is the High School organization sponsored by Kiwanis for the High School age young adults as they begin to understand the value of volunteerism for our local communities and beyond.

Support the activities of the Saddleback College Circle K

Circle K is the college level Kiwanis family member. This organization transitions the volunteer efforts of our children into adults as they graduate from College and go on to become productive members of society.
